NestMath provides calculators and educational content for general informational purposes only. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and nothing here creates an advisor relationship. Every result is an estimate based on the assumptions you enter and on general formulas and tax or rate values that change over time. Before making any financial decision, confirm the numbers and consult a qualified professional who can account for your full situation.
Accuracy and assumptions
We work to keep the math correct and the assumptions current, and the calculation logic is open source so anyone can review it. Even so, the tools may contain errors, use simplified models, or rely on figures that have since changed. Tax brackets, contribution limits, and similar values are labeled with the year they reflect where relevant. We make no guarantee that any result is accurate, complete, or applicable to your circumstances.
Provided "as is"
The site and all tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ArcLayer LLC and the site's contributors are not liable for any loss or damages arising out of your use of, or reliance on, the site or its results.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will ArcLayer LLC, its members, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site or its results — whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory, and even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the site is provided free of charge, the total aggregate liability of ArcLayer LLC for all claims relating to the site will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use it (which is zero) or one hundred US dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ArcLayer LLC, its members, and contributors from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use or misuse of the site, your reliance on its results, your violation of these terms, or your presentation of any result as professional advice to another person.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the site or these terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kansas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully and don't attempt to disrupt it, abuse it, or misrepresent its results as professional advice to others. The NestMath source code is open source under the license stated in its GitHub repository; your use of the code is governed by that license.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the site changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The site is operated by ArcLayer LLC. Questions can be raised through the GitHub repository.
